About Me
Hey! I am Weijia(VJ) WANG.
Born and raised in Mainland China, I received a Phd in Urban Studies and Design from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a MFA in Industrial Design at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a BS in Landscape Architecture at the Southwest University in Chongqing, China.
After working as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Urban Sociology and Design at Lingnan University Hong Kong, I am presently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Humanities and Arts, Macau University of Science and Technology to teach and research (1) urban public space and high-density urbanism; (2) digital placemaking, smart neighbourhoods and cities; and (3) design and social change.
